What is T'ai Chi & Qigong?
Have you ever seen the pictures of middle aged and eldery Chinese exercising in parks all over China? That's T'ai Chi.
There are many variants of the martial arts and T'ai Chi is no exception, with styles such as Chen, Yang, Wu, Shin and Ng. (no, I haven't spelt that wrong!)
T'ai Chi is a "moving meditation" of exercises and sequences of moves which promote mental and spiritual harmony. T'ai Chi can improve your physical well being as much as your mental health.
Qigong literally means "energy work" and has been proven over thousands of years by millions of people to have a beneficial impact upon their daily lives. Qigong is the practice of controlling the chi energy internally to improve physical health and mental clarity.
