The International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) is an awarding body offering vocational qualifications in Complementary Therapy and Bodywork.

ITEC is recognized and regulated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), and the Department of Education and Employment.

ITEC is an independent examining body that offers impartiality and objectivity in its examinations.

ITEC provides a full syllabus, its own external examiners visiting colleges for practical examinations and a theory examination process leading to an internationally recognised series of qualifications.

At a time when the medical profession is increasingly willing to recognise the benefits of complementary therapies, ITEC. stands high in the opinion of the British Medical Council, The Institute for Complementary Medicine and the British Complementary Medicine Association.
